Off-plan progress updates
Watch it being built, from home.
Buying off-plan from abroad means trusting a building you cannot drop in on. We keep you posted through construction, from the foundations to the handover.
01How it works
From the first payment to the keys.
You hear from us at every stage that matters, and you can ask for an update at any time.
Construction updates
Progress from the site as the building goes up, from us and the developer, with photographs and video.
Payment milestones
When an instalment is tied to a stage of construction, we tell you the stage has been reached before the payment falls due.
Ready for handover
As completion nears, we take you through what happens next: the final payment, the inspection and the keys.
Snagging and keys
The home is checked for defects before you accept it, and anything found goes back to the developer to put right.

02In detail
You can ask us for.

03Questions
Off-plan progress updates, answered.
How will I know my off-plan property is being built?
Through progress updates from Continental and the developer, with photographs and video from the site. You can ask for an update or a live call from the site at any time.
What happens if construction is delayed?
We tell you as soon as we know, and explain what your contract says about delays. This is one reason we check a developer’s record of finishing schemes before we offer their stock.
Who checks the property at handover?
The home is inspected for defects before you accept it. If you cannot be there, it can be done on your behalf, and anything found is taken up with the developer.
