Privacy policy.
This policy explains how Crown Continental collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use crowncontinental.com or enquire with us, the lawful bases we rely on, who we share it with, and your rights under UK data protection law. It works alongside our cookie policy.
Who we are
Crown Continental ("we", "us", "our") is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about your data at info@crowncontinental.com.
We are Omnia Capital Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16480721, registered office at 123 Deansgate, Manchester, England, M3 2BY.
Crown Continental is part of Omnia Capital Group. Our advisers work in the group's client systems, and they may reply to you from an @omniacapitalgroup.com email address.
The personal data we collect
We collect only what we need for the purposes below. Depending on how you use the site, this may include:
- Enquiry data. When you send an enquiry, ask for a price list or floor plan, book a call or join a list, we collect your name, email address, phone number and the country you pick for it, and anything else you choose to tell us, such as the market or development you are interested in, your budget, your timing and your message.
- Download data. When you download a guide, we record the request with your name and email address so we can give you the file and follow up if you asked us to.
- Alerts and newsletters. If you ask for new-launch alerts or our newsletter, we keep your email address and the markets you chose.
- Usage data. With your consent to analytics, we collect how you use the site: pages viewed, searches, taps on WhatsApp and phone links, device and browser type, and approximate location from your IP address, linked to a first-party visitor identifier (see our cookie policy). If you later send an enquiry, this browsing history is linked to it so an adviser can see what you looked at.
- Marketing data. Your marketing preferences, and where a campaign or link brought you to the site.
We do not ask for special category data, such as health or ethnic origin; please do not include it in free-text fields. The site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
How we collect it
- Directly from you, when you complete a form, message us on WhatsApp, call or email us.
- Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies, only in the categories you have consented to.
- From developers, agents or partners who introduce you to us, in which case we receive your contact details and the nature of your interest. We will tell you the source if you ask.
How we use it, and our lawful bases
What we do | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
Reply to your enquiry, send the price lists, floor plans or guides you ask for, and help you with a purchase | Steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us |
Send you new-launch alerts, newsletters and other marketing you have asked for | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
Measure how the site is used, and link your browsing to your enquiry | Your consent, given through the cookie banner |
Keep records, prevent fraud and misuse of our forms, and meet legal obligations | Our legitimate interest in protecting our business and users, and compliance with legal obligations |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed them against your interests and do not use your data in ways you would not reasonably expect. You can ask us about that assessment.
Marketing and your choices
We send marketing only where you have asked for it. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by writing to info@crowncontinental.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop messages about an enquiry you have made.
You control analytics and marketing cookies through Cookie settings in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed for the purposes above, with:
- Our group, Omnia Capital Group, whose client-relationship system holds enquiries and whose advisers may handle your enquiry.
- Service providers who process data for us under contract, including website hosting, database, file storage and email providers. They act only on our instructions.
- Analytics providers, where you have consented: Google Analytics.
- Advertising providers: none at present. We do not use advertising cookies, pixels or server-side advertising measurement on this site. If we start, we will update this policy first, and they will run only with your consent.
- Developers, lawyers, lenders and other advisers relevant to an enquiry, where you have asked us to take it forward.
- Authorities, where the law requires it, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
A list of our named service providers is available on request from info@crowncontinental.com.
International transfers
Our clients and the developments we sell are in several countries, including the United Kingdom, Thailand, Malaysia, Spain and the Gulf, and some of our service providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. Your data may therefore be processed in countries whose data protection laws differ from the UK's.
Where we transfer data to a country the UK has found adequate, we rely on that finding. For other countries we use the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, with extra safeguards where they are needed. You can ask for a copy at info@crowncontinental.com.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it, then delete or anonymise it:
- Enquiry data: while we are in contact with you and for up to six years after our last contact, so we can follow up and keep the records the law requires.
- Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, after which we keep a minimal record so we keep honouring your choice.
- Usage data: linked to your visitor identifier for as long as the identifier lasts (see our cookie policy), and in Google Analytics for the period set in our account.
- Records we must keep by law: for the period the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can, free of charge:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erase data we have no good reason to keep.
- Restrict how we use your data in certain circumstances.
- Port data you gave us, where we use it by consent or contract and by automated means.
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what we did before.
We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you by automated means alone. To use any of these rights, write to info@crowncontinental.com. We may need to confirm your identity, and we will reply within one month, or tell you if a complex request needs longer.
How we protect it
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and limiting access to those who need it. Our forms check for automated abuse. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take security seriously and review our measures regularly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a significant change we will update the date below and, where appropriate, tell you. This policy was last updated on 22 October 2026.
Complaints and how to contact us
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
