After you buy
We stay on after the keys.
Completion is not where our work ends. With the developer, we help you set the home up, let it if you want an income, and look after it while you are away.
01How it works
The years after completion.
One adviser stays your contact, whatever you decide to do with the home.
Handover
The keys, the utilities and the paperwork, with us and the developer on hand for any questions.
Set it up
If the home needs furnishing, or setting up to let, we help you decide what it needs and get it done.
Let and manage it
Lettings and management through the developer’s own programme where a scheme has one, or through managers we know.
Plan the exit
When you want to sell or reinvest, we help you plan the timing and the sale.

03Questions
After you buy, answered.
Who looks after my property when I am abroad?
Continental and the developer support you after completion. Many schemes have their own management or rental programme; where one does not, we can point you to managers we know.
Can I rent my property out?
In most cases, yes, though the rules on short and long lets vary by market and by building. Your adviser will tell you what applies before you buy, so the plan for the home fits what is allowed.
Will you help me sell later?
Yes. We plan the exit with you at the start and help you act on it when the time comes, whether that is selling or moving the money into another property.

Talk about the long term.
Tell us what you want the home to do once it is yours. An adviser will set out how we and the developer would support it.
