The routes to living in Turkey.
Our verdict. Turkish citizenship by investment suits a buyer who wants a passport through property alone: US$400,000 in completed homes, or plots with a building, grants citizenship with approval, for a spouse and children under 18. The title is annotated so the property cannot be sold for three years. The weak point is what counts: since December 2023 only finished units or plots with a building qualify, and no processing time is published. Turkey also offers a property-owner residence permit from US$200,000, renewable every two years, with permanent residence after eight. Set against Antigua and Barbuda's real estate route, the minimum is higher, but there is no minimum stay.
